This role will support the daily scheduling, tracking, and performance of work for the Metrology, Facilities, Validation, and Analytical Laboratory departments by assisting with scheduling, coordination and documentation review of all calibration information. This position will help facilitate the accurate and timely scheduling for on-demand and scheduled instrument/equipment work events as well as the on-boarding of new equipment, processing of change requests, and management of deviations (OOTs).



  • Provide support/guidance to business owners regarding on-boarding of new equipment into the calibration management system database
  • Coordinate portable equipment (new and existing) coming into the Metrology department requiring calibration in-order to ensure timely completion of work
  • Enter deviations/Out of Tolerance into deviation management system
  • Assist with coordination of offsite/onsite vendor calibrations
  • Enter calibration events into calibration database in an accurate & timely manner
  • Assist with obtaining service quotes
  • Generate required documentation for new and/or existing instruments
  • Enter required documentation into calibration database with strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain calibration database for accuracy
  • Review vendor calibration documentation and events
  • Effectively demonstrate an understanding of cGMP’s & how they apply to job-specific responsibilities
  • Follow accurate oral & written procedures/direction in performance of departmental tasks
  • Stay up-to-date on training of all procedures
  • Adhere to site safety procedures and guidelines



  • High school diploma (or GED) required. Associates degree or higher educational completion desired; preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience accurately maintain metrology documentation systems; with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cGMP or regulated industry
  • Strong Math, Reading, Writing and Analytical thinking skills necessary
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, ethical, and productive, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to utilize electronic systems
  • Must possesses technical and systems knowledge and be able to effectively research information outside of knowledge base
  • Requires functional understanding of cGMPs, established manufacturing practices and procedures, and compliance with Quality regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to understand and execute established written instructions is essential.
  • Requires the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions to problems based on technical understanding of the process and equipment
  • Requires the ability to understand and work within the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Previous experience working with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager (BMRAM) or similar Metrology maintenance and tracking software systems is highly desired.
