DUTIES:

  • As Technical Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for interacting with the Sales team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external customers on Requests for Proposal (RFP) reviews to clearly define project scope, strategy, resource requirements, timelines, deliverables and pricing.

  • As a process chemistry / API proposal writer, you will work closely with Business Operations to achieve budget, optimize profit, and fill the schedule.
  • You will be responsible for writing high quality technical proposals including various service offerings,  primarily supporting process chemistry and API manufacturing.
  • You will maintain accurate and timely updates to Salesforce.com.
  • As Technical Proposal Writer, you will play a proactive role in developing and applying new approaches, procedures, and processes.
  • You will work to ensure accurate timelines and pricing is provided within proposals for forecasting activities.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Organic Chemistry and related work experience required.

  • Small molecule chemical development experience in a corporate setting a plus.
  • Experience writing process chemistry and API manufacturing proposals.  
  • Knowledge of CDMO market pricing and conditions useful.
  • Proven experience in strategic pricing and planning.
  • Experience with Service Agreements useful.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, ChemDraw and Salesforce.com (or similar CRM tool).
