  • As Sr. Facility Technician, you will support the oversee facility operations; maintain the mechanical integrity of the plant / process equipment and overall facilities; manage facility and equipment mechanical maintenance; manage repair and preventive maintenance; and manage janitorial and facility grounds maintenance services.
  • Specifically, you will manage and / or perform installation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • As Facility Manager, you will perform preventive maintenance of major facility equipment including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical laboratory equipment.
  • You will be required to test, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair / replacement of electrical and electromechanical equipment.



  • Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance activities.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, engineering drawings, and sequences of operations.
  • Ability to bend, squat or crouch, crawl, kneel, stoop, stretch and stand and / or work in cramped areas for prolonged periods of times while repairing equipment both at floor level, overhead, and / or in confined space areas.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders (both inclined and vertical), enter man-holes, vaults, and other classified and unclassified confined spaces and must be able to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force with or without assistance occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects and job-related materials and/or equipment.



  • Basic knowledge of facility operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
  • Basic computer skills.
